I just found out that my segment of the NBC Today Show will air at 8:38 AM tomorrow (Thursday, 6/7). The general theme of the segment involves the challenge of investing and weathering the market's ups and downs.
On a related note, I'm preparing a post on this new breed of Website that can automatically pull information from online brokerage accounts to document the performance of traders or portfolio managers in real time. The Investment Directors at VesTopia maintain blogs describing their market views; definitely worth a read--

8:30 AM Chicago time or New York time? Thanks.
Hi Kathy,
Thanks for the question. My understanding is that the Today Show airs at the same time in all markets. It's live in NY and then airs on a delayed basis in other time zones. So it should air in the 8:30 hour Chicago time as well as NY.

Good luck tomorrow - I've got the Tivo ready to record! I think you appearance is so relevant with May's market performance and the ever-increasing information available to individual investors that brings parity with the traditionally advantaged institutions.
0$ commissions/ $0 account minimums at Zecco, advanced trading tools with the online brokers like Scottrade, and sites like Covestor and VesTopia that bring the eBay model to money management are just a few examples.
The only knowledge left to seek out, understand, and analyze is our emotional intelligence and behavior.
Good luck!
Thanks much, David. The ability of traders to document their trading in real time has great potential as a learning tool. I appreciate the interest and support--
